Safe, affordable housing for adults with severe and persistent mental illness.Trinity Group Homes?seeks to improve the lives of North Idaho residents diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness by providing life skills training in residential group home settings. We were founded in 1979 by local individuals to provide drug and alcohol free homes in which individuals can learn to live independent lives with their mental illness. We were registered as a non-profit organization in Idaho on November 24, 1980.
We maintain seven semi-independent group homes in the Coeur d'Alene, Hayden and Post Falls area of Kootenai County, with a total of 32 individual rooms in all seven houses. Each resident has a furnished private room and shares living space, kitchen, eating area and bathrooms with three-five other residents. Homes are completely furnished, have cable TV, internet, washers and dryers and a completely equipped kitchen. Each resident has regularly assigned chores in addition to keeping their personal space clean and orderly. For residents with past substance abuse issues, maintaining sobriety is essential.
